Training and Education

Beat ‘N’ Track has an unsurpassed reputation for delivering training and education programmes of the highest quality. From individuals to schools, youth groups and the unemployed, anyone with an interest in music and music technology can benefit from what we do. Please call us for a chat, drop us an email or pop into the studio and we can talk you through your options.

One To One

We offer training on a one-to-one basis at our studio. As well as software training in programmes such as Ableton Live, Logic, Cubase, Reason and ProTools, we also offer training in DJ Skills, studio recording, PA set up and much more.

Youth & Community

We understand that every group is different so we design our courses to fit your interests and needs.  Our bespoke courses range from two-hour taster workshops to fully accredited qualifications taken over weeks and months.  We can host your group at our training centre in Bangor or, if that doesn’t suit, why not let us come to you?  We travel to venues throughout Ireland and bring all necessary equipment.

Here are just some of the disciplines we can over workshops and courses in:

  • Music Production & Recording Skills Workshops
  • Recording Projects
  • DJ Skills
  • Radio Presenting Skills
  • Women’s Training
  • Instrumental Tuition
  • Music & Personal Development
  • Music Projects combined with Visual Art Projects

Steps to Work

We run a number of full-time ‘Step into Music’ qualifications for unemployed people at various centres throughout Northern Ireland. This includes exclusive accredited training and an eight-week placement relevant to the music industry where possible. Please contact your Employment Advisor at your local Jobs & Benefits Office to check for eligibility.

Schools

We deliver qualifications on behalf of various schools in Northern Ireland. All our staff are fully trained and experienced, in delivering qualifications. All of our courses are Entitlement Framework compatible and we work hand-in-hand with our schools to achieve the very best grades and practical experience possible for all students involved.

Alternative Education

These programmes are delivered to organisations that work with young people who have been excluded from mainstream education.  We work to combine our music programmes with the full-time development programmes set-up by the receiving organisation, to help these young people achieve qualifications before they reach school leaving age, in order to increase their career chances.
